The caravan will be delivered and removed by Campos Caravans and must not be moved at any time without permission from Campos Caravans. The caravan will be clamped onsite.
These caravans are only for hire within the Auckland and surrounding areas only.
These are not self-tow caravans
Free delivery within 30kms of the Auckland CBD on rentals 6 weeks or more, outside this area a delivery fee will apply.
The caravan will be levelled on site and the power and water connected if required. All Caravans come with a valid electrical safety certification and are RCD protect.
Long term rentals
Rental period is 3 months or more.
A one off early termination fee of $150.00 will apply if the rental is terminated prior to the minimum 3 month period.
2 weeks' notice must be given at the end of the rental period.
Payment must be by automatic payment or direct debit.
Payments
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the rent payments reach Campos Caravans by the due date otherwise a late penalty of $20.00 will be charged.
Bond - A refundable bond of $400 and 1 weeks rent is payable in advance on all caravan rentals
The bond will be refunded no later than 7 days after the caravan is returned provided:
The caravan is undamaged except for normal wear and tear
The chattels as listed are returned and in good condition
The caravan is clean and tidy
There is no unpaid rent
The minimum time of the lease is met
Use of Caravan
The hirer shall not sublet or hire the caravan to any other person
The hirer shall not use the caravan for any unlawful purpose
The hirer must not tow the caravan
Hirers obligations
The hirer will notify Campos Caravans of any problems with the caravan by by emailing herring.jj@gmail.com
The hirer shall make sure the caravan is locked and secure when not in use
Smoking is not permitted in the caravan
Animals are not permitted in the caravan excluding guide dogs
Only the lead supplied with the caravan is to be used / no extension cords are to be used
The electrical connections must not be tampered with or be removed
The hirer is responsible for any damage to wiring or appliances caused by failure to use power as directed
The hirer is responsible for the repairs of any broken windows
The hirer is responsible for any costs incurred if he/she loses the key, we recommend getting a key cut to prevent this otherwise $50.00 will be charged to fit a new lock
If the caravan is damaged and repair costs exceed the $400 bond then the hirer is liable for damages
Insurance
Personal belongings are not covered, we recommend you do not leave valuables in the caravan.
Fire and theft insurance for the caravan must be in place by the hirer. Often this falls under a standard home and contents policy when your insurer is notified.
Campos Caravans reserves the right to inspect the caravan at any time and to terminate the rental agreement if there is damage incurred or failure of rental payments. In the event of the hirer not meeting any of the above terms and conditions Campos Caravans may enter the property and remove the caravan without notice.
